Kick Off The Holidays With The Festival Of Trees And Lights
Hundreds of beautifully decorated trees, wreaths and assorted greenery of all sizes adorn the corridors of Louisville Slugger Field. Area businesses and individuals show their support by sponsoring these trees, and creative designers generously bring them to life. Contests for the most unique designs are awarded and all items are available for purchase to benefit Kosair Children's Hospital through the Children's Hospital Foundation. General admission hours:
- Nov. 14, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Dickens Family Night, 6 to 9 p.m.
- Nov. 15, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Nov. 16, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Festival of Trees & Lights ongoing attractions:
- Main Street on Ice skating rink
- Miniature train display
- Sweet Shop packed with homemade delicacies
- Gift Shop filled with holiday gifts
- Holiday Design & Displays
Free children's activities, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Booths are set up with activities for kids of all ages. Activities include ornament making, face painting, and building and decorating gingerbread houses with graham crackers, icing and candy. Roving and stage entertainers add to the holiday fun.
